Tree branches

Lukas has continued his work building my tree for the show in Santa Barbara – it’s looking good so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing the spirals get onto the ends of the branches. The spirals will be copper coils, while these aluminium pieces will be painted cream, then wrapped gently in christmas lights and soft cream fabric.

The copper spirals will also go onto the ends of the feet of the tree, and smaller ones will add to the shape of the branches above. Can’t wait to see the whole tree!

There isn’t a great deal more to do apart from getting the lighting right, and the guys need to make some crates for the actors to use as furniture.
