This show was a precursor to the much more ambitious Cabinet of Contemporary Neolithic Wonders that followed it in the next year. The objects were made as a response to research into neolithic British archaeology (think stone circles and megalithic architecture), attempting to make art objects that fit the Neolithic mindset, but also worked as contemporary art.
